about
Dr fiona Hargraves phd
Sports, exercise, nutrition and behavioural scientist.
Fiona is a qualified exercise physiologist/sports scientist, nutritionist, and wellness coach with a PhD in exercise science, behavioural psychology, mental health and digital technology. She has over three decades of experience in the fitness industry in the US and Australia - as a trainer, a trainer of trainers, a trainer to the stars, a fitness studio owner and published health and fitness author - and in academia as a researcher and university lecturer.

Fiona works with athletes across a range of sports, but has a particular interest helping equestrians develop their fitness and athletic skills to enhance their partnerships with their amazing athlete horses and has worked with the dressage riders in the fantastic Performance Riders programs for a few years.

Fiona embraces the opportunity to translate scientific evidence into useful strategies to cut through the 'noise' and help people get on with being healthy, fit and kicking their goals.

Fiona is a dressage rider and trains at Parbery Dressage in NSW, Australia, where she is working on small tour FEI level on one horse and medium level on another. When not doing 'sciencey' things, you'll find her riding horses, in the garden with her dogs or in the gym.
